How to apply for Knec training online- Simplified guide

The Kenya National Examinations Council, Knec, has advertised training opportunities for Examiners this year.

Application for training of examiners is done online.

This is how to apply for Knec training online:

  1. Access the Knec examiners portal by using the link:

    Knec Examiners

    https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke
    2. In the window that appears, click on Create account.
    3. Next, enter your phone number in the format 254…… i.e 2547000000
    4. Then, Click on ‘Create Account’.
    5. You will receive a message from Knec with your user name (phone number) and password.
    6. Now, go back to the portal https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke and select Log in.
    7. Input your user name (phone number) and password and click on Log in.
    8. You will see the window shown below. Fill in your details, accordingly and click on ‘Save’
    You can apply or be assigned a task, you are required to provide your personal informaton, qualifications and work history for verification

    9. In the next window, select ‘apply for training’.
    10. You will be redirected to the Knec Examiners application platform.
    11. Under the action tab, select apply that is located next to the paper code for which you wish to train for.
    12. Upload the required documents i.e TSC Appointment letter, Recommendation letter from Head Teacher/ Principal, Certified KCSE Certificate, National ID, TSC Registration Certificate, Certified Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree Certificate and KRA PIN.
    13. Kindly note that applications without attachments will not be considered for shortlisting by the Kenya National Examinations Council.Allowed files:- pdf files and scanned images.
    14. Upload all the required documents and click on next to complete the application.
    15. You will then be required to pay the training fees of KSHs 10,500.
