The University’S admission letter is an important document that enables you, as a prospective student, to prepare well before joining the institution. ST.TERESA MOI EQUATOR GIRLS’ SECONDARY SCHOOL’S KCSE RESULTS

Individual candidates can check their KCSE results by sending an SMS with their full index number (11digits) followed by the word KCSE. The SMS can be sent from any subscriber’s line (Safaricom, Airtel or any other) to 20076. For example, send the SMS in the format 23467847002KCSE to 20076. There should be no space left between the index number and the word KCSE.

One can also download the whole school’s KCSE results by Visiting the Official KNEC exams portal; https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/.  This one requires the school’s log in credentials.

Finally, candidates can visit the school for their results. This is usually a day after the results have been released. It is important that you check your result slip to ensure there are no errors on it. Be keen to see that details such as your name, index number and sex are accurate. SENIOR ASSISTANT PLACEMENT COORDINATION/CAREER SERVICES OFFICER, KUCCPS 7. FIVE (5) POSITIONS (Ref. Code KUCCPS 041/20)

Reporting to the Manager, Placement Coordination/Career Services the Officer will be responsible for administration and provision of information on Placement Coordination and Career Services at the following Huduma Centres: Trans Nzoia, Narok, Isiolo, Laikipia and Kiambu – Thika Centre.

Successful applicants will be hired on a two-year contract renewable on mutual agreement and subject to meeting set performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to queries about the services offered by the Placement Service;
2. Assist in guiding students on the application processes;
3. Receive Inter-Institution Transfers applications;
4. Assist in collecting data of registered eligible institutions and their programmes for placement;
5. Receiving and compiling returns and the declared capacities for universities and colleges programmes;
6. Assist in sensitising students on the relationship between career paths, programmes offered in universities and colleges, and subjects undertaken in schools;
7. Assist in collecting data for research, and for designing the mechanism and work plans for the provision of career guidance and counselling services;
8. Collect feedback from stakeholders on matters of placement and career development; and

Minimum Requirement

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-
1. Have attained a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:- Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Studies or Development Studies or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution;
2. Be proficient in computer applications; and
3. Having experience in relevant work in the Public Service or Private Sector will be an added advantage;

Reporting to the Manager, Placement Coordination/Career Services the Officer will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of Career development programmes.

Successful applicant will be hired on pensionable terms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collating and assisting in analysing feedback from stakeholders on matters of career development;
2. Sensitizing students on the relationship between career paths, programmes offered at universities and colleges, and subjects undertaken in schools;
3. Collecting data on the means used and areas covered during the sensitization;
4. Conducting career guidance and counseling services to teachers, parents and other stakeholders as per work plan;

2. Developing the Placement Service’s budget and continuously monitor and evaluate its implementation;
3. Giving oversight to the Placement Service financial affairs and advise the Placement Service on financial planning strategies and policies;
4. Ensuring effective and efficient management of the Placement Service’s Resources including Finances and Assets;
5. Ensuring the provision of meaningful, accurate and prompt management accounts and reports to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board;
6. Negotiating with banks and donors for appropriate support;
7. Giving oversight to the Placement Service’s human capital affairs, ensuring that the Placement Service has the right and sufficient human resource to meet its objectives;
8. Ensuring that current and future space and other facility needs are provided for;
9. Providing oversight for effective records management operations;
10. Overseeing performance management system in the Placement Service;
11. Participating in the development and review of the Institution’s strategic plan;
12. Ensuring compliance with labour laws, public, Public Financial Management Act, IPSAS and IFRS and ISO Standards;
13. Reviewing the Corporate Services business plans in line with the overall strategic objectives and government performance contract; and
14. Overseeing operations of HRM, Administration, ICT and Finance & Accounting departments.

KUCCPS Inter-University Transfer Procedure – Simplified Guide

Discover the step-by-step process for transferring between universities in Kenya through the KUCCPS system. Ensure a hassle-free transition.

The Kuccps placement results are now out. Hopefully you have checked your results. Have you been placed at another university but wish to transfer to another one? Application for inter-institutional transfer is now available through the KUCCPS portal.

Find a good smartphone, laptop or a cyber.                                                                                            

If you get server error, keep refreshing the page

Requirements: KCSE index number, KCPE index number or Birth Cert no. and mpesa amount (1000)

  1. Open the link http://students.kuccps.net
  2. Click login and insert the required data

Password should be your KCPE index number or birth certificate number.

NB: 

  • Do not put any slash while writing the KCSE or KCPE index number
  • Birth certificates have two numbers the Serial number and the Entry no. Kindly try both

TO GET THE COURSE AND INSTITUTION THAT YOU WISH TO TRANSFER TO:

  1. Click Programmes
  2. Go to the category you are qualified for: i.e. Degree, Diploma, Certificate or Artisan
  3. Select the cluster you wish to explore e.g. Law and related, Medicine and related etc. (NB: If you can’t find a course, search it)
  4. After selecting a cluster, select the particular course you want to transfer to. It will give you the specific subject requirements. If you have met them, then scroll down to see the 2024 CUT OFF (for Degree and some Diploma courses) and compare them with your cluster weight on the right.

(NB: Only select a course which you meet the subject requirements and the 2024 cut off of the university (for degree courses)). 

  1. Once you get the University or College of your Choice and which you meet the cutoff, write its programme code
  2. Click Transfers, read the instructions on the Transfers Dashboard then click Transfers Applications
  3.  Insert the 7 – digit code of the course you want to transfer to (should meet 2024 cutoff)
  1. Select the reason for transfer either medical, financial or not my preferred programme
  2. Attach a supporting document e.g.

For Medical reasons, you should either attach a medical report. For Financial Reasons, or ‘Not my preferred programme’, attach a screenshot of your application history / dashboard. For ‘Person with Disability’, Attach a Registration Document from the NCPWD. For other reasons, attach a document supporting the reason

  1. Explain your reason in the space provided (reason should be between 300 – 600 CHARACTERS (letters, numbers and punctuation) NOT WORDS!)

NB: IF THE SYSTEM DOESN’T RESPOND: Refresh the page and redo the previous stages. Try typing the reason in Microsoft Word and copy paste it. Make sure the reason is between 300 – 600 characters, not words. After you copy paste, the Mpesa instructions should appear

  1. Make the mpesa payment and insert the code. If it does not respond, give it 5 to 15 minutes to one hour as you keep trying
  2. Submit your application and insert your password then submit again. Make sure a message pops up to indicate that your transfer application has been submitted
  3. Your transfer is complete. Keep monitoring the progress on the portal from time to time by seeing which step it is in as shown in green, until the whole process is complete. Every step may take a few days, so don’t worry.
  4. Once your transfer has been approved by all parties, you will be provided with a transfer letter for you to download, print and present to the institution you asked for, so that they can process your admission.

2. Click on create account and the below window opens
3. Key in your sir name, other names and your personal email address
4. Check the kuccps student check box and enter any of the following:

Enter KUCCPS Email used during kuccps registration or KCSE Index No or National ID

5. Select identification document
6. Enter password you will be using
7. Reenter the same password to confirm
8. Click signup

Logging in

1. Visit https://admission.mmust.ac.ke/ and

2. You will see a new window.
3. Click log in and the following is displayed
4. Key in your email address used when creating account and password then log in
5. Click on admission letter to download
6. Download all admission documents
7. Fill admission FORMS MMU/2A, MMU/2B, MMU/3
8. Once done, scan and upload them under my documents/uploaded documents

Kuucps has provided the entry requirement of all programs offered (diploma, certificate and artisan courses) for the 2023-2024 academic year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DIPLOMA IN PRIMARY TEACHER EDUCATION (DPTE)

  1. Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (Grade 1-6) entry grade is KCSE Mean Grade of C (Plain) or its equivalent
  2. For candidates with disabilities the minimum entry grade is C- (Minus)
  3. The duration of the course shall be three (3) years in accordance with the approved Curriculum designs.
  4. The Trainees shall be required to cover the recommended hours for coursework, required hours for practicum and pass the assessments as directed by Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).
  5. The Teacher Trainee shall undertake three months micro-teaching course which is a pre-requisite for teaching practice

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DIPLOMA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER EDUCATION (DECTE)

  1.  The academic entry requirements for the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) shall be C (Plain) Mean Grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (KCSE) or its equivalent (as equated by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
  2. Candidates with disabilities shall be admitted with C- (Minus) grade in KCSE or equivalent.
  3. The duration for the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) shall be three (3) years.
  4. The trainees undertaking the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) shall take ALL courses specified in the DECTE Curriculum.
  5. The trainees shall undertake a Micro Teaching course of three (3) months which shall be a pre-requisite for the Teaching Practicum of two school terms.
  6. To be awarded the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE), the candidate must complete the required hours for coursework and pass the stipulated assessment as directed by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
