The Zidisha loans and App free download; Fast and cheap mobile online loans

Mobile loans have become more popular for customers seeking quick loans. Unlike over the counter loans, mobile loans offer convenience and flexibility. Take for example if one had an emergency; that requires financial attention, over the weekend and on public holidays when most banking halls are closed! Such an individual will suffer a great deal. But thanks to mobile loans Apps, one can process the loans online and instantly. All what is required is a smart phone and you will get your loan instantly. Furthermore, mobile loans are paperless and thus very few requirements, if any, are needed. Again, there so many lenders providing loans online. The Mobile lenders have developed Apps that can be downloaded freely from Play Store. Here is one of the lenders providing such loans online.

Zidisha loans App

Zidisha is an international lending community that offers responsible, high-achieving people the chance to raise loans directly from ordinary people all over the world.

Why join Zidisha?

  • Open to everyone: You do not need to have collateral assets, a bank account, guarantors, or a salaried job to raise a loan.
  • Flexible: You choose your own weekly repayment schedule.
  • Community: Loans are funded by other Zidisha members, not banks. You become part of a supportive community of entrepreneurs and lenders from all over the world.

What are the eligibility requirements?

  • Have your own Facebook account with extensive social connections.
  • Have a source of income that will allow you to make repayments each week.
  • Be able to secure recommendations from people in your community.

How much can I borrow?

Credit limits start small and increase with each loan repaid on time, up to a maximum of US $10 000.

What are the fees and interest?

Zidisha loans do not carry interest. Borrowers pay a service fee of 5% of the loan amount, to cover the cost of transferring and administering the loan. Loans also carry a credit risk payment ranging from 5% to 30%, which is used for reimbursing lenders in the event of default. The credit risk payment decreases as you build a history of on-time repayments. A one-time premium membership payment may be required in order to access higher credit limits. Download the Zidisha loans App today from Google play store and enjoy their lending services.

Here are the revised term dates for all schools and colleges in 2020

The Ministry of Education has revised the term dates for the 2020 academic year. In a circular dated 12th February, 2020 , and written by the Principal Secretary, Dr. Belio R. Kipsang, term dates for Pre-Primary, Primary, secondary schools and Teacher Training Colleges have been altered. In the revised term dates, candidates will sit for their examinations earlier than had already programmed. Schools will now, also, close early in term three to pave way for execution of the national examinations.

“Following stakeholders’ consultation on the above subject (2020 term dates), it has been found necessary to revise the term dates for the calendar year 2020 for schools and colleges,” reads the Circular sent to all Regional Directors of Education.

Just like it was in 2019, there will be no half term break in third term of 2020.

NEW DATES

In the latest directive, the closing date for all primary schools in term three has been moved from October 30, 2020 to 23rd October, 2020. Also changed is the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, examination period that has now been slated for October 26 to October 29, 2020.

For Secondary schools, the closing date in term three has been moved from October 30, 2020 to 23rd October, 2020. Just like the KCPE examination, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination period has been altered to between November 2 and November 25, 2020.

College students have been added an extra one day holiday in term one as their closing date has been moved backwards to 09/04/2020 from the initial closing date of 10/04/2020.

LENANA SCHOOL’S BRIEF HISTORY

It was Founded on January 28, 1949 by colonial governor Philip Euen Mitchell in 1949. By then the school was known as ‘the Duke of York School’. The first students were briefly housed at the then British colonial Governor’s House which is the current State House as they waited for the school’s completion. The founding principal/headmaster was R.H. James.
Originally the school was reserved for white students only within the racial system of colonial Kenya, but after independence in 1963 there were gradual changes that led to the first few black and Asian students being admitted in the mid 1960s.
The school was renamed Lenana School in 1969 after the legendary Laibon Lenana who was the central human figure in the Maasai religious system and ruled around the end of the 19th century through to the early 20th century. The first Kenyan headmaster (principal) of the school was Mr. James Kamunge.
