Pain as Teacher Killed By Husband in Suspected Love Triangle
Law enforcement officials in Bomet County have initiated a search for Peter Ngeno, who is accused of murdering his wife, Beatrice Ngeno, following a domestic conflict associated with alleged infidelity.
The unfortunate event transpired at their residence in Kinyelwet village, Kipsonoi Ward, located within Sotik sub-county.
As per County Police Commander Edward Imbwaga, the couple was involved in a violent confrontation, after which the husband confined Beatrice within their home and subsequently strangled her. She was later discovered deceased, exhibiting blood emanating from her nose and mouth.
Initial investigations indicate that the dispute arose from claims of Beatrice’s extramarital involvement.
Beatrice, a revered educator at a local secondary school in Bomet, was characterized as a committed instructor whose abrupt passing has prompted mourning within the school community.
Officials have moved her remains to Kapkatet Hospital mortuary as inquiries proceed. Officers from Sotik Police Station, in conjunction with detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), are collaborating to apprehend the suspect, who remains at large.
Commander Imbwaga unequivocally denounced the incident, admonishing against the appropriation of the law for personal retribution. He implored the community to pursue legal avenues for resolving domestic disputes instead of resorting to violence.
