List of new secondary school choices 2021/2022

The Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC, has released a new list of secondary school choices 2021. The list that features a total of 8,890 contains all National, Extra County, County and Sub County Schools.

The school choices list is helpful during selection of secondary schools by the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, candidates.

SOUTH TETU GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL’S KCSE RESULTS

Individual candidates can check their KCSE results by sending an SMS with their full index number (11digits) followed by the word KCSE. The SMS can be sent from any subscriber’s line (Safaricom, Airtel or any other) to 20076. For example, send the SMS in the format 23467847002KCSE to 20076. There should be no space left between the index number and the word KCSE.

One can also download the whole school’s KCSE results by Visiting the Official KNEC exams portal; https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/.  This one requires the school’s log in credentials.

Finally, candidates can visit the school for their results. This is usually a day after the results have been released. It is important that you check your result slip to ensure there are no errors on it. Be keen to see that details such as your name, index number and sex are accurate. In case of any discrepancy, please notify your principal or KNEC immediately for correction.

SOUTH TETU GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL’S KCSE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS/ GRADES COUNT

The school has maintained a good run in performance at the Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC, exams. In the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, exams the school registered a total of 97 candidates who managed to score a mean of a B+(plus) with a performance index of 68.071. HOW TO CHECK YOUR PLACEMENT RESULTS

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released the 2023/2024 placement of students to universities and colleges. There are many ways through which you can easily and quickly check your results.

Applicants can check their placement results through any of the following ways.

1. Student’s Portal (Free of Charge)

Log in to the student’s Portal (students.kuccps.net] and view your placement results on the Dashboard. The login credentials are:

  • Applicant’s KCSE Index Number
  • Applicant’s KCSE Year
  • Password (Applicant’s KCPE Index Number/Birth Certificate Number)

2. SMS (Charges Applicable)

Send your KCSE Index number by SMS to 20842 starting with your KCSE year [Example: 202212345678912).

You will receive a response indicating the programme and the institution in which you have been placed. (Charges: Ksh25 per SMS.)

   APPLICATION FOR INTER/INTRA SCHOOL TRANSFER

Placed by Kuccps and need to change your university Course? KUCCPS students wishing to change the programme they were placed in may do so by filling in the online transfer form and following the given procedure.

Before submitting the form, make sure of the following:

    1. Confirm that you meet the entry points and subject requirement of the degree course you are seeking to join.
    1. Apply and submit the required details for accessing your KUCCPS account i.e KCSE Index no., KCSE Year and KUCCPS password.

     Important information:

    • Application DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A TRANSFER.
    • The transfer is NOT complete until the student receives an official letter from the Registrar (Academic) informing them that the application has been successful.
    • Note that transfer is subject to availability of space.
    • Only applications meeting the deadline will be considered.
    • Note that you can apply for one or a maximum of three programs.
