Apply for Kuccps furniture, computers and ICT infrastructure- Schools urged
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is a State corporation established under the Universities Act, 2012 to coordinate the placement of Government-sponsored students to universities and colleges, among other functions.
The Placement Service is a responsible corporate citizen that believes in empowering the people through community service and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of the less privileged.
Further to this commitment, KUCCPS has developed a Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Policy that guides the community initiatives and programmes. In line with the Policy, the Placement Service wishes to dispose of 32 obsolete and unserviceable items comprising furniture and UPSs.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
This disposal is open to secondary schools and higher education institutions that meet the following criteria.
- A public institution.
- Must be from a marginalised region or an informal settlement.
- TVET colleges and special needs school are most preferred.
- The award will be on a rolling basis (first come, first-considered).
- Two institutions that meet the above requirements will be selected on a first-come, first-considered basis.
The Placement Service will waive the applicable reserve costs for the benefit of the selected institutions and will provide transportation of the items to the selected institutions.
